Having begun in the fashion industry, I went on to become a teacher and then Head of Faculty in community education in London. I ran a successful corporate image consultancy for ten years before making the move into executive coaching in 1997. Since then, I've helped over 2,000 senior business people from the public and private sector to project themselves at their professional best.As well as the executive coach training you would expect, I am also qualified in a number of psychometric test methodologies. I use the MBTI®* assessment tool, FIRO-B®** and BELBIN Team Roles. I am a full member of the Association for Coaching and an Associate of the Chartered Management Institute. For several years I served as Honorary Visiting Fellow for the Leadership Development Programme at the University of York, and as a visiting lecturer at the Office for Public Management. I was also made a Fellow of the Federation of Image Consultants in 1996. So far I've published five books on personal development, which have been translated into many languages, as well as writing regularly for professional journals and contributing to radio and TV programmes. While titles and books are all very useful, what my clients say they value most is my direct and honest approach, combined with real insight, creativity, discretion and sensitivity.
