Creative Business Presentations, pub by Kogan Page, 2003 "I really enjoyed your book. I came across it at Victoria Station - interestingly on a day when I decided to tell one of my clients that if he wanted me to present again I would refuse to use his compulsory 'ten PowerPoint slides'. He has since asked me to work for him again. Your book really inspired me to to be more firm with clients and stick to my own style. Thank you for a most inspiring book" \n

Without the crutch of slides and cue cards, many presenters would feel vulnerable. Sampson, who has coached more than 2000 people to be better presenters, provides visual, verbal and aural ideas that cannot fail to make an impact. Discussing why you should avoid humour, how to use music and how to catch the audience's imagination, this is an inspiring read." www.telegraph.co.uk " I had my most pressured presentation to date this morning. I always find sales presentations so different to anything else and found your book a massive help. It was my most inspiring sales presentation so far and I recived some great feedback." Gary Elton-Shewan, The Learning Labyrinth Ltd " I was enthusing about your book to a trainer who will be teaching presentation skills to army officers. She was sold on it and so I am I. A great book!" \n

The book is an easy read with diagrams and bullet-point format allowing the reader to take up small sections at a time without having to read from start to finish. The author includes examples of presentations she has done with humorous stories of both positive and negative experiences. I particularly liked her holistic approach to preparing and delivering presentations including speech, smell, sound, movement, and props. Although I bought this book for enhancing how I conduct public speaking for my job, I was surprised to find myself referring to the book's advice during my personal life as well. \n
